Every now and then I remember that I have a face. A canvas for make-up. I am so used to working on other people’s faces that I get bored of my own face and stop bothering with my own make-up. Well, that’s nothing that an ombré lip and smokey eye can’t fix.
Here are my weapons of choice.

Eyes: MAC paintpot in Groundwork, MAC eyeshadows in Goldmine, Brun, and Carbon, NYX Waterproof Retractable Eyeliner in 06 Gold, Illamasqua Infinity Gel Liner, Maybelline mascara
Lips: MUA Luxe matte liquid lip colour in Kooky, NYX Matte Lip Cream in Addis Ababa.
Face: Kiko Photo Perfect primer, Kiko Divine Tone Moisturising Face Serum, L’Oreal True Match foundation in 6W, Ben Nye creme blush, Ben Nye powder, Artist of Makeup contour in Kontour and Highlight in Amber.
The foundation runs a little red on me, so I’ll be trying one shade lighter to see if it’s a better match. Other than that, I’m really happy with the look and will definitely be dressing my face a little more for parties and weddings. Add some false lashes and we have my new party look!
