I’m really pleased to share some recent portrait makeup & photography work. This shoot was the last outdoor shoot of early Autumn, with a new model building her portfolio. For me, the key to making this shoot successful was to keep the makeup, hair, and fashion styling age-appropriate while still giving it the glam factor.

I’ve intentionally kept the posing a lot simpler than my editorial fashion shoots. This was a way to focus on the models facial expressions first, before developing her body posing skills. We worked through a number of different outfits in pink, magenta and metallic tones that worked with the models skin tone and undertones, so it was easy to make small changes to the makeup and hair, to get a variety of different looks.

I’d love to know your thoughts on these images! Hit me up in the comments.
