EOTD: Starry Eyed palette – Barry M
18 Sunday Dec 2016
Here’s another one of my favourite party palettes, and also a Limited Edition. With deep berry and navy shades complimenting the gold and russet shades, it’s a fantastic palette for a range of party looks.
Here’s how I created this 3-minute soft gold smokey eye.
- Apply a soft wash of the matte nude shade (first in palette) all over the lid and up to the socket bone.
- Take a crease brush and apply the russet red shade to the crease. Blend well with a clean brush.
- Apply the antique gold shadow all over the lid and lightly blend into the crease.
- Take a clean angled liner brush and dip it into the matte brown shadow. Create a V-shape at the outer corners of the eye and blend well into the antique gold.
- Add some gel liner to the upper lashline.
- You can keep the eyeliner bold as it is in the first two images or you can smudge it out a little to add a softer overall look like in the bottom image.
If I was wearing this out to a party, I’d add a few coats of mascara and some false lashes for a fuller party look.
