In Part 1, I told you that my trip to Germany was mostly office and food, the other place I spent my time was my hotel room. My three colleagues and I stayed at The Hilton Garden Inn in Frankfurt. It’s actually situated in the airport complex and has skywalk access to and from terminal 1.

Standard hotel contemporary art… but I kind of like this. Clean and classy art pieces.

Travelling light – these are my bathroom essentials. Sample sizes and all airport carry-on friendly. Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish 7-day sample (from a John Lewis Partners card promotion), Bobbi Brown Cleansing Oil, Lush Boom Tooth Tabs.

How cool is this… a ring light built in to the bathroom mirror. Yes, I did take a selfie or two and it made my bare face look amazing!

Premium toiletries… not too shabby, not too shabby at all

Here’s the full tour…

All in all the Hilton Garden Inn felt really luxe for being the low-cost sister hotel to the main Hilton Brand… which was literally next door. Even though I prefer boutique hotels to chains, I would consider staying here again or at other Hilton Garden Inn hotels for business travel in the future.
