Back in June, I had a surprise 4-day work trip to Frankfurt. I’ve never been to Germany and so aside from my 12-hour workdays I was keen to soak up as much as I could from my city break and vlog/ blog as much as I could.

I stayed with 3 colleagues in Frankfurt, at the Hilton Garden Inn at Frankfurt Airport. We were working in Hattersheim however, a 10 minute drive from the airport.

Hattersheim am Main is a small town bordering Frankfurt to the north-east and with a population of about 25000. I didn’t spend much time outside of work here but did get the opportunity to visit the Market Square for dinner on 2 of the 4 evenings of the trip.

Favourite restaurant in Hattersheim – right in the heart of the market square. Amazing food… as you can see below.

Can you believe that this salmon salad was just a starter?

Seafood spaghetti is always a good choice but this was on another level of food heaven

My mouth is watering just thinking of this meal… I would go back to quiet little Hattersheim just for this restaurant

This was heaven for the foodie in me. I was pulling long hours at the office so besides the food I didn’t get to see as much of the town as I would have liked… but there’s always next time!
